01 It started with a friendship
Two pairs of hands, one table and plenty of calm.
Pabilo began the way good things do: two friends, one afternoon, trying out waxes in the kitchen. We loved how a home smells when everything winds down and only one light is left burning.
We pour every batch by hand, in small quantities, without rushing. Natural wax, scents you recognise, no strange smoke. Local and close to home is not a label for us: it is how we work.

03 Wax melts
Scent without a flame.
Small pieces of scented wax, with no wick, made purely to perfume a room. They melt slowly in a burner and fill the house with a rich, lasting scent.
Order them in your favourite scentHow to use them
Place one or more pieces in your burner. The heat melts them slowly and releases their fragrance. Once the wax stops giving off scent, take it out and add a fresh piece.

Candle or wax melt?
A candle gives light and scent at once; a wax melt is made only to perfume. That is why it has no wick and needs a separate heat source.

Handmade means no rushing.

You pick your candle
Write to us with the scent you want. We will tell you what is ready and what is going into the next batch.

We make it
Poured by hand, in small quantities. Every candle rests before it leaves us. That takes a few days.

It arrives at your door
Carefully wrapped, ready to light or to give. Local delivery or shipping, whichever you prefer.
06 Frequently asked questions
What people usually ask us.
How long does a candle burn for?
It depends on the size, but ours give between 40 and 50 hours of scent. We list the approximate burn time on every candle.
How do I get the most out of my candle?
The first time, let it burn until the whole surface has melted (that stops it tunnelling). Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each use, and never burn it for more than 4 hours at a time.
What wax are they made with?
With natural soy and coconut wax. They burn clean, with no strange smoke, and hold their scent right to the end.
Do you ship?
Yes. Hand delivery on the island, and shipping to the rest of the Canaries and mainland Spain. Tell us where you are and we will confirm timing and cost.
Can I ask for a particular scent or blend?
Of course. Beyond the collection we make custom blends and special orders. Write to us and we will work it out together.
